Rick Warren in not...Just a point of clarification. Rick Warren in not President Obama's mentor. As a matter of fact they disagree on the issue of Gay rights and marriage (Prop 8). Obama took some heat for having him deliver the invocation. It was Obama staying true to his word to reach out to differing opinions and being inclusive to even those he actively disagrees with. I think it speaks to President Obama's character and commitment.

I for one have great hope for this President and his administration. We need him to suceed. The negitive voices have already started. Rush Limbaugh has already stated that he hope Obama fails. I can hardly wait until Ann Coulter opens her yap. Remember he's the one who made me cry once.
Mom
Hoping that Obama relies heavily on his mentor Rick Warren for advice and can manage a purpose-driven presidency.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044648.post-56109035648350390122009-01-21T00:59:00.000-06:002009-01-21T00:59:00.000-06:00I enjoy everything about the cold and snow except ...I enjoy everything about the cold and snow except driving in it. Also it's annoying when it's cold but there's no snow. Ask Micah about that - he's been very vocal about it for the last two months or so.Chuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03918675492238901083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044648.post-36116975429493809282009-01-20T21:56:00.000-06:002009-01-20T21:56:00.000-06:00Let's see, as I remember, you are the one who love...Let's see, as I remember, you are the one who loves the cold and snow. I do have a fee...The blame game is always the game. I do have a feeling that fewer players will be playing the game however. Immediately following the inauguration I happened to be listening to Rush Lamebaugh and he was already deriding the whole proceding.

This leads me to one conclusion.

Rush Limbaugh has officially "jumped the shark".

In the words of Michael Savage, yet another conservative/libertarian pundit. "Rush Limbaugh is the Boy George of the republican party".

The republican party now is a caricature of itself. Don't be surprised though, the democratic party was in the same place at the end of the Clintonian/narcissism era.

It seems an eight year term now begets a more rotten corpse as we shovel dirt on top of an era.

I hope things have changed!

I will remain upbeat!

DaveAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
